ABOUT US
Bimini Park is situated near the twin crater lakes of Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine on the lush Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland. Bimini Park was established in 1991 by Laurie and Julie Wright with the aim to provide high grade Brangus cattle and working Kelpies to the rural sector.
Initially we started Bimini Park Brangus using Telpara Hills and Greendale genetics as foundation stock for our herd. Then in 2012 we injected improved bloodlines with the purchase of RUSHTON DISTINCTION’S FAME (ET) (Sire: SUHNS DISTINCTION 331T48) And then replace this bull with RUSHTON BIG DEAL 510K4 (Sire: SOUTHERN DEALMAKER 468w40).
Registered and commercial bulls are available in small numbers as only the very best performing progeny are retained for this purpose. Bulls are grown out on natural brachiaria pasture with just limited grain feeding allowing for the true breeding and quality of the bulls to shine through. Paddock sales of both bulls and steers are available.
Registered and commercial heifers along with PTIC heifers and cows are available. With their excellent temperament, calving ease and fertility they have the potential to greatly improve your herd. Throwing small calves and having excellent milking ability, calves go ahead in leaps and bounds.
Bimini Kelpies are working kelpies, bred in Far North Queensland for working cattle. All our dogs are Working Kelpie Council of Australia (WKC) registered and guaranteed. We have been breeding working Kelpies since 1993 and after a break, we re-commenced breeding in 2005 with the purchase of foundaton Sire (Boanong Darcy) and Trebonne Pippa. Bimini Park pups have gone on to be exceptional workers on cattle, sheep and goats here in Queensland and various other states.
